PROJETO MARTIN: nun in Caico RN, Nordostbrasilien
Um einen ganz persönlichen Beitrag für die Bekämpfung der weltweiten Armut beizutragen, habe ich mein ganz persönliches PROJETO MARTIN ins Leben gerufen.
Kinder, die Musik aktiv ausüben, sind statistisch gesehen weniger agressiv und gewaltbereit und können sich auch außerhalb der Musik besser konzentrieren.
In Natal (RN), einer Millionenstadt im Nordosten Brasiliens, in der ich als Gastprofessor seit Jahrzehnten aktiv bin, wird sechs Kindern (Alter zwischen 10 und 18 Jahren) aus armen Verhältnissen ermöglicht, ein Instrument (Violine,Viola oder Violoncello) zu lernen. Sie bekommen wöchtenlich eine Einzelstunde und einen Gruppenunterricht bei erfahrenen Lehrern. Den Unterricht und die Instumente stelle ich zur Verfügung und greife finanziell auch den Familien unter die Arme, dass sie ihre Kinder beim Erlernen des Intruments unterstützen. Das Projekt ist langfristig angelegt und für jedes Kind, das ausscheidet (im Regelfall nach fünf Jahren), rückt ein neues nach.
Nach knapp zehn Jahren in Natal zieht das PROJETO MARTIN nun nach Caicó ins Landesinnere von Rio Grande de Norte /BR) und unterstützt gezielt Mädchen im Alter zwischen 10 und 15 Jahren. Das Projekt ist eingebunden in: Brazilian Shift Aldo Parisot. Meine persönliche Ansprechpartner sind Fernanda Ferreira und Prof. Claudia Cunha.
To make my own personal contribution to the fight against global poverty, I have launched my very own PROJETO MARTIN.
Statistically speaking, children who actively play music are less aggressive and less prone to violence and are also better able to concentrate outside of music.
In Natal (RN), a city of over a million people in north-eastern Brazil, where I have been working as a visiting professor for decades, six children (aged between 10 and 18) from disadvantaged backgrounds are given the opportunity to learn an instrument (violin, viola or cello). They receive one weekly one-to-one lesson and a group lesson with experienced teachers. I provide the lessons and the instruments, and also offer financial support to the families so that they can help their children learn the instrument. The project is designed for the long term, and for every child who leaves (usually after five years), a new one takes their place.
After almost ten years in Natal, PROJETO MARTIN is now moving to Caicó in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte (BR) and specifically supports girls aged between 10 and 15. The project is part of: Brazilian Shift Aldo Parisot. My personal contact is Fernanda Ferreira and Prof. Claudia Cunha.
Para dar minha contribuição pessoal à luta contra a pobreza mundial, criei o meu PROJETO MARTIN.
Estatisticamente, crianças que praticam música ativamente são menos agressivas e propensas à violência, além de conseguirem se concentrar melhor também fora do contexto musical.
Em Natal (RN), uma metrópole no Nordeste do Brasil, onde atuo como professor convidado há décadas, seis crianças (com idades entre 10 e 18 anos) de famílias carentes têm a oportunidade de aprender a tocar um instrumento (violino, viola ou violoncelo). Elas recebem semanalmente uma aula individual e uma aula em grupo com professores experientes. Eu disponibilizo as aulas e os instrumentos e também ajudo financeiramente as famílias para que possam apoiar seus filhos no aprendizado do instrumento. O projeto é de longo prazo e, para cada criança que sai (normalmente após cinco anos), uma nova entra.
Em Natal, meus amigos professores Durval Cesetti e Claudia Roberta Cunha cuidam do projeto e mantêm contato regular comigo para relatar os sucessos e, talvez, também as dificuldades.
Após quase dez anos em Natal, o PROJETO MARTIN está agora se mudando para Caicó, no interior do Rio Grande do Norte (BR), e apoia especificamente meninas com idades entre 10 e 15 anos. O projeto está integrado ao Brazilian Shift Aldo Parisot. Minha pessoa de contato pessoal é Fernanda Ferreira y Pof. Claudia Cunha.
